Hi,

Does your k700i has the feature called "PlayNow" in the main menu? I have it but my friend one doesnt have. Weird!

What exactly is the playnow feature? This message was posted from a WAP device

I also have the "PlayNow" web short cut on the menu. Never used it

It would be good to actually have that set as a Web favourite or Homepage shortcut.

@whizkidd
Itīs basically a bookmark to a ringtone site where you can listen to/download tunes from, like a "hit list"
IMO a feature they could well have skipped...
Oh well..

I don't have it. Mine is an unbranded sim-free K700 bought in the UK. The SE box had the leaflet about the Play Now feature but there was no facility for it on the phone.

I have been curious about this too. I have a UK supplied phone, unbranded. I have no PlayNow either. However, from reading the leaflet it looks like it is charged through the network when you download a tone. So your network would need some method by which SonyEricsson could pass on the charging.

Therefore, perhaps it is only on phones distributed in certain countries where the network is likely to support this feature.
