My friend's T610 cannot receive any call. It only rings once and the calls gets ended while on the other (the person who called) gets a funny sound as if the Restricts Calls-All Incoming (From the menu Calls->Manage Calls) is activated, I checked it and it is not. On the Accept Calls, From All option is the selected. I thought it had to do with one of the settings in the fone, but I cud not find it. And also the fone does the same thing even if you exchange SIM cards and you can't make an outgoing call either, it just keeps on saying retry. Does anyone have an idea of where the problem, I'm using T68i so I am not that familiar with T610.

Yes he does have the warranty, the problem is he can only go there after next week or so.

I don't have the fone with me now, but I checked and there was nothing like, only the signal, grps and battery indicators on top and there was 4 small squares at the bottom nearly on top of the scroller, i think they were 2 in blue and the other 2 grey in colour if I remember well.
