I am on T-Mobile and my contract expired in June, I am therefore pretty free to do as I please and have been waiting for the Z1010 on 3.

Why 3? The Value for money, I am not really that interested in the other things, but I like SE and I like the Z1010 but the wait is taking it's toll considering how poor T-Mobile can be.

I finally got to play around with the K700i on Sunday and I was thoroughly impressed. o2 are offering double mins and text for 6 months if purchased through an o2 store but 3 will probably offer 3 months half price line rental with the Z1010.

I am looking at VT500 for £25 per month or o2 250 for £30 per month (double mins and all that) for 6 months and then o2 400 for £45 per month for the final 6 months.

Then there is talk of a super K700 (I have seen something somewhere with pictures of how the T/F700 will look, where MS-Duo slot will be etc.) I am not bothered by the so called Z1020 so what should I do?

What would you do? Wait for the super K700? Cost is not everything and quality of service is important. Thanks for your time

If you still wait for a phone you will never buy a new phone so buy K700 and then if you will sell it and buy another

If I had a chance to decide, I would go for Z1010 - it's 3G and clamshell

I know not the hottest post but I have been swayed by the K700i, but all the negative comment gives me cause for concern. However the problems I have heard from 3 users (a friend just cancelled after about 4 months for free) might not be worth the Z1010.

Thanks but as ever more opinions welcome

@sunnychad - How about contemplating on getting yourself either an SE P910 or an SE S700 - looks more exciting to me Though between the two, the SE Z1010 will do best !

Get the s700 when it comes out. 3 is a joke - cheap call but no signal. Z1010 may never be released. It was presented over 17 months ago. This message was posted from a K700

I can't vouch for the 3 Network or the Z1010 but since i got my K700i on O2 i've been really pleased with O2 and my K700i. I sold my Nokia 6600 so i could end my contract with T-Mobile and I started one with O2.

I was considering the Z1010 due to my fixation with it from day 1 and the cheap tariff, the size is not convenient for the old jeans pocket. Size is a concern and that is why the S700i and P900/910 were not considered. Thanks again.

So why have you had enough of T-Mobile then?

Primary reason is variable reception. I moved house a while ago and get no reception there. T-Mobile saw that I had been a good customer for a while and rewarded me with a loyalty bonus. The bonus is over and reception is still as bad. Wife is on O2 and bro is on 3, both work very well at home, so I thinks that is the way to go. Oddly T-Mobile are not that concerned about keeping customers anymore, which I find odd. I was doing about £90 a month, and classed as a T1 customer, since the new year they have changed and are not bothered.
