Hi,

Was wondering if anyone know of any cool applications for the K700. It is quite boring the the applications folder is empty. Maybe some simple currency converters and stuff like that. Would love a program to use my K700 as a Remote Control for the TV. I know these kind of program exist for the Nokia 6600. Would a program like that be possible on a K700?

Thanks.

Even if the phone is kind of new it is to bad there are no applications. Not even SonyEricsson has any applications to offer.

Hope some cool program will be developed soon.

there are quite a lot of java applications about, try a site like midlet.org to find some. They don't need to be made specifically for the k700 to work.

I sincerely hope sony ericsson book their ideas up,but i think that is a very far cry.i was predominantly a siemens/nokia fan,but thought i would give the so called WONDERFUL se a bash.all i can say is that they are quite inferior compared to the 6600 and the sx1.my k700 is going on ebay, and i aint lookin back. by a brick then, or a siemans if you want, but there are plenty of applications available that work fine on the k700.

It is very apparent that many people are EXTREMELY biased on this forum, aren't they?i have used the 6600,sx1 and 6820,and am currently using the oh so NOT GREAT k700i.Get a grip folks, sony ericsson still continue production of bobbins technology, don't they.seems like the t66 bug ridden thing still prevails in a large memory colour screen phone.stop living the life of utter denial eh? think your a bit wrong with your conparison of the 6600 the k700 is nt better in every way the memory is far greater on the 6600 as its unlimted its down to how many mmc you want or how big a size you can afford ie you can get a 1 gb so a bit better than 40mb
having said that the k700 is still a nice phone and ideal for mid range if your after a stylish looking phone.
both phones are aimed at different consumers though both do fall into the same price band now. the k700 has it on looks ( and i own a 6600)
but the amount of apps availble and things you can do on the 6600 means that has an edge over the k700
in short both great phones
