Hello folks, I am new to this game. I recently got a K700i- very happy with it (on Vodafone UK). Now can someone tell me whether it is possible to use an mp3 as a ringtone or not? Whenever I try to set one as a ringtone I am told I cannot use this file.
In the vodafone instruction manual it states that If I want to use an mp3 as a ringtone, I can only use some copyright-protected files specially designed as ringtones.... I'm lost.... very sad if I can't use mp3 ringtones...
Can anyone help even if it is bad news?

In the vodafone branded k700 the mp3 ringtone is disabled. They did that so you have to buy their expensive Live ringtones
