I just got my K700i and only recently bought my DSS-20 in the hope of upgrading the firware. Then they take the service down!
Does anyone have the inside track as to when I'll be able to update my firmware on the net?
Also how do you think the upgrade will work with my o2 phone?

Only SE knows when it will be back up... Branded firmwares will be available later than the unbranded ones as the operators will have to spend time customising the new firmwares, but they will be available for branded phones...
