Bookmark topic
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew when the K700i was going to be coming to T-Mobile in the US. Any help is appreciated.

I talked to a customer rep about the S700, and she responded: "what S700?"
They don't know
, you know, typical customer service

They told me its pretty much determined by how many customers ask for it

If it is indeed determined by a customer demand, wel... crank up your phones and start dialling 611

You might as well just buy one on eBay because by the time T-Mobile or any other US GSM carrier offers it it will be old already. They are sooooo sloooooooooowwww.

I had a problem with using an easyspeak T-mobile SIM with a fully unlocked UK/British SE T610. Does anyone know for sure if if T mobile USA restrict the usage of their SIMs in pay as you go or contract strictly to T-mobile locked phones?? I travel to the US on business regularly and I'm looking for the cheapest deal that will allow me to use one of my older or existing UK phones.

I know they do not restrict the SIM usage for only their phones. My dad uses his Nokia 6610 that is unbranded and unlocked(bought overseas) with easyspeak and it works fine.
I do not want to buy one on ebay, the ones there are over 150 and if i got it through T-mobile I would get it for about that price.

My K700i works fine in the US using T-Mobile service, all you need to do is insert the SIM and the battery and you're good to go. Just make sure you get one that's factory unlocked. Mine has much better reception than the Moto T722i I got from the T-Mobile store last year. As long as you're willing to pay for it, import is the way to go.

I also just got a K700i and I am on the T-Mobile network in the US. The phone works great! The only issue was with internet browsing and MMS. I was able to resolve the browsing issue by going to the UK Sony Ericsson site and finding the settup options for the K700 which were then sent to my phone. They also had a similar setup for the MMS, but it ddn't work after it was sent and installed onto my phone...
(any help with this would be great!).
