> should i buy this unlocking kit?

I'm looking to buy a kit to unlock my phone (T610 and Motorolla C333) i as just wonder if anyone know if this kit will work. i heard to unlock the t610 i need a dongle or something like that. Well this kit doesnt seem to include a cable just the software. just wondering if anyone know if this will work and what software might they sent me. thanks

It has a picture of various cell phones, but not the actual product it is selling. It is supposed to be software on a CD or something? Anyway, for many Nokia phones, you can get it unlocked for free if you search. For SE, you need the terminator dongle or an unlocking cable. Don't know about the other makes.
If you are lucky, the CD will contain all this information and tell you where to buy the necessary hardware. You can also find this information on the net.
Your SE data cable cannot be used for unlocking.

it does look quite dodgy, however unlocking is possible without cables by entering codes into the phone.
if i were you i would take it to a professional or buy some proper software like SE Fighter. lots of people recommend DIV and terminator, but these suck. you wouldnt believe how many phones i have to "unterminate".

A professional will not use the terminator. It has killed(at least temporarily) a lot of phones. Ever heard of the "4 locks locked"? Although for unlocking, it's still OK.
