Is there a way to extract audio and video out from the P900? (I was hoping to connect it to an external amp/speaker and monitor).

I have been told that there is some kind of plug that you can by which makes it like a regular out jacket for headphones.

You can use the audio jack, as Lucas suggested.
Or you can use Bluetooth to play the phones sound through your PC, or any other Bluetooth device capable of audio playback.

For the video, can't you just copy the .avi or .mp4 file from your phone to your PC?
Or do you just need to capture the screen of the Px00?

If you use a program called RemoteP800 you can see & control your phone from your PC. There is probably a version of this for the P900 by now too.

There are also some ScreenCapture programs for Px00 but think they only take single images, not video.

Good luck

Actually I was thinking of extracting video from the P900 so that I can connect to a car LCD monitor so that I could watch movies on a bigger screen. (A mobile home theater)

In that case I don't think it is possible.
Would be a neat idea though.

Unless someone made an LCD screed that recieved video by bluetooth, and then made a video player for p800 that transmitted via bluetooth. But don't hold your breath while you wait for that to happen!

Stop the Press! Just found this on a website...

It really looks cool.

BUT definitely depending on the price, as in view of the forthcoming Wi-Fi equipped smartphones, it is not worth to pay big amount and have to be 1 or 2 mtrs from the device, trying not to lose BT connection. In the near future (Wi-Fi), we will be able to do it from a decent distance.

Also Video-out???

I was under the impression that it showed only images (stills) from your phone, kind of like a slide show but "NOT" Video. Unless I am mistaken... however it may open the path for such a device in the near future. By then we would probably all have newer and better phones anyway.
