> k700i freezing?
Bookmark topic
I just got a new k700i from Taiwan. Everything works fine, but every once in a while the phone freezes up while I'm switching through menus or typing a text message. I tried calling customer support in Taiwan, as this phone isn't available in the US yet, but they didn't know. I've been reading around, but I havent seen anybody report this. Has anybody heard about this? Would this be fixed in a firmware update?

Mine used to have these problems too when I first got it. Nowadays it's fine - it all seems to have settled down. Apart from my SMS delivery report problem which I mention in another thread!

I just bought K700i too from Taiwan last week and stability was super poor due to the firmware problem i guess. But try to switch off the keypad tone and the phone perform better then. (I know it sounds weird but it really work better)
Next week, the SE official announce there will be new firmware releasing and we can go visit the dealers for upgrading the phone for free of charge.
