hi ive been using free gprs with o2 for ages but up until a few days ago it stopped working.

Usually on the p900 the blue triangular thingy comes up to show that GPRS is attached but that doesnt come up anymore...only the globe comes up and it doesnt connect

even when im using the normal gprs settings and not with the proxy enabled it still does this.

ive tried a different simcard in my P900 and it works fine on that one.

does anyone know whats wrong and do you think that O2 have stopped me from using this service on purpose.

Since the other sim card does work the fault must be with the provider. I assume you use the right settings? I think the best option is to call them and ask them if gprs is still enabled.

yep ive never changed the settings or anything, will call them asap

do you think its possible they knew i was using the proxy server to connect with GPRS and have taken away the service because of that?

I called O2 and the nice woman told me that their is actually a problem with the whole GPRS service and not just mine and that their engineers are trying to get it fixed within the next 24 hours. Is anyone else having this problem then?

Yeah, I'm having problems on the Orange network. They have sent me sim updates and a internet set-up signal to my P900 and nothing seems to work. It might be the area I'm in, thats what they said.

Anyone else having problems with the orange network?

How good of them theyre tryin there upmost to rectify the problem so you can continue to rip them off lol only joking mate mines been ok although a bit slow to connect the last few days This message was posted from a Nokia

yeh well mines runnin fine now...im not tryin to rip them off...if they know its possible to use a proxy server and get it for free they should do something about it...if they aint gonna then im gona carry on using it

if i was paying id have already clocked up round about 120 quid over a week
