I just bought the t610 cell phone. I know how to send pictures and sounds to other t610 phones through bluetooth. But is there a way to send text messages through BT?

No, the only thing you can do is what we do when we bluejack.

Create a new contact in the phonebook with the name as the message we want to send and then go to the contact, click more, click send, click via bluetooth.

thats wierd. i played 2 player games via BT and sent pics/sounds but you cant send a simple text message? it would have come in handy when i take a test.

nah... others will have the option to select receive or reject ya picture transfer. maybe for the first time u might get it thru but second time onward ppl will be aware and reject ya picture sending.

in the t68, you can send notes to any acessible BT device in range. However, it doesn't assure you that the target would receive the note.

but in the t630 i tried, it seems that you can only send notes to paired devices only. is this really so?

You don't know who you're bluejacking - could be a kid. It would also give bluejacking a bad name and negative publicity - it would kill the pastime off!
