> HELP! connection probs p800

hey
im having trouble connecting my p800 2 my pc.
it used 2 connect fine, but about a week ago i got a virus on the comp, thats been fixed now although alot of stuff had 2 be deleted...anyway... i reinstalled the p800 software coz that was deleted but its not workin properley. everytime i want to connect my phone i have to uninstall the software and then reinstall it...which is quite annoying. if i unnconnect my phone, i have 2 delete the software again...AHHHHHHHHH
if i dont do that the little icon thingy at the bottom of the screen says its connected but when i go to open the p800 file it says its not connected
....if that makes sense

I guess the virus also deleted something from your operating system that controls the usb/serial ports.
Try reinstalling windows, if that isn't too severe. It should fix the problem.
This a good warning to us all to use anti virus software!
