> mp4 to wav in K700

does any one know a free program for converting mp4 to wav? I tried to use my mp4 as a ring ton but it dident work.Hmm maybe i did something wrong?

Not...mp4 can be only sound too...thatīs the format use to listen to songs in the k700...they have 30% the size of the mp3s, with the same sound quality.
They canīt be used as ringtones, though...but converting to wav isnīt the best solution...convert them to mp3 96kb instead

mp4 is just a container format (define in MPEG-4 standard) it can store many tracks inside (video/audio/subtitle and more) or only have audio track.
For example AAC songs encoded with Apple iTunes (and play on iPod) are AAC stream inside mp4 container but apple use the extension .m4a to cleary state that it is an audio only mp4 file (you can rename to .mp4 and play on your K700).
Don't spread wrong information here.

JW Blue - if I send an mp3 (under 16kps) to my phone from my mac can I use it as a ring tone or do I have to find a programme to convert it to a midi file?
