> Do I buy the K700i or S700i?

Hi All,
Before reading the review on mobile-review.com about the S700i, I was really keen to get the S700i as my next phone. But after reading it, I'm now thinking to just get the K700i. As far as the camera goes, I really don't think its going to replace my real digital camera when I'm out and about. As far as functions as I see it; it has the same stuff as the K700i. I do like the idea of having DUO on it, but if I'm not going to use it as camera (except to have a little fun with) and 128mb doesn't really give you much of a MP3 player. Maybe I'm better off getting the K700i, which is already out
and cheaper. The bigger screen is nice but then you get the bigger price.
Don't know which way to go now, all SE phones ROCK!!!

Yes i would also go with the s700. A phone is not all about cheapness or about...other...stuff. Its about how it makes u feel!!! How would the s700 make u feel!?!?! GREAT & POWERFUL!!!

And I'm guessing as far as people saying the software is the same as the K700i, this is most likely the case for the demo ones going around, I'm sure it will change a little to suite the S700i, I.e the setup wizard etc... before release.

If the S700i had EDGE like the S710a model, then it would be worth it... For me at least. I'm currently undecided between the S700i and the Motorola MPx220... Both are in the same price range and have about the same release period... I'm leaning more towards the Moto at the moment. But i won't know till i play with the actual phones :-) Can't wait ...

I don't understand why someone would pay so much $$$ for a camera phone that does so little things when they can get for the same price (or more) a superb smartphone that does so much more.
Think about it people, it's time to move on. Say goodbye to underperforming phones with limited capabilities and embrace MOTOROLA SMARTPHONES (or any other smartphone)

well yeah the open os kinda turns it down.... but then again gx40 also doesn't have an open os but it is still a very good phone....

theres a shop down the road selling new sony 1.3mp camera for £60. DSC U10. might aswell get a k700 and one of them...

I've got to agree with batesie remember the S700 is still just a phone with a camera attached if you want a decent camera get one. It will probably cost the same to get the S700 as to get a K700 + camera.
Oh theres that and you'll have to wait a bit.
