All K700s can play WAV files but only those with frequency of 16,000Hz or lower for some reason.
The simple answer though is convert to MP3 of which it plays any frequency & of course MP3s are smaller than WAVs

Mate, they're all the same except those with Voda f/w which can't use MP3 ringtones.
Have u tried a WAV of 16,000Hz or lower frequency?

No, I haven't tried that. I download through wap because I don't have a cable. So I can't see what freq the tones have. This message was posted from a Nokia

Get yourself a Bluetooth adapter for your computer (BT is faster transfer than cable I find) & convert everything to MP3 or to a lower frequency if u specifically want WAVs but they have no advantage over MP3.

dbpoweramp is an excellent tool for converting between WAV & MP3 & for choosing specific settings.

It won't make any difference if they're voice, music or animal noise it just depends what frequency they're encoded in!
But just convert everythin to MP3 anyway as they're smaller!
