I used to have a T28 and could not send or receive picture sms. I bought T68 the day it was released and one of the features I expected to have was that. On my T68m, when I received a picture message it did not allow me to forward it. I was hoping this would be fixed with tne new software. I just upgrated my T68m to T68i but still it does not allow me to send any picture messages with T68i either.
(not talking about MMS or EMS but normal picture messages)
I cannot see the logic in not being able to send them. After all, only T68 has EMS and MMS (the latter is not even supported by my network), and no one I know has a T68, so I basicaly cannot send any kind of picture messages. I think this sucks, for such an expensive phone to limit u in such a way.
Is this normal with all T68 phones. If so WHY???????

the picture sms sent with for example Nokia 3310, 3330, 8210 etc are not a standard... just something Nokia came up with... the MMS is a standard.... so all phones supporting MMS can send/recieve/forward MMS (phones not supporting MMS can recieve MMS but will only see the ordinary text in the message)

Thanks you guys, thinks are much clearer now.
But it still sucks. I waited 3 years to be able to send sms pics.
Guess I will have to wait 2 more years at least, until the rest of the world all have EMS and MMS.
Or maybe SE could make a deal with NOKIA?????
