I must be stupid but I cant find the folder where the SE sound recorder saves all recorded sounds.

As it is now I record a sound and then I must choose to send it as e-mail to myself.
Wouldn't it be better if the recordings were saved i soundfiles on the phone so one easily could copy them to the pc... or maybe they do this.. And I just cant find how. The manual does not say much about this.

I found them using sman (by recording sound and checking time stamp) not an obvious file name.
Are you just wanting to copy them?
What I do (not saying it's the best)
Sound Recorder -> Send As -> Blue tooth beamed

Messages -> Beamed -> Shared folder (you should see your wave file)
Hit it (as its associated with music player)

Save -> give it a name and location

Or just use any file manager and go to C:\documents\Voice\Voicenote

They should all be in there in .wav format. Copy this to your Media Files\Audio directory and you can access it from the PC SyncStation filemanager thing.

Good luck

Thanks!

Silly program! Couldn't they have laid a few more minutes and added support to save files...

Does anyone know if there is any soundrecorders thats better than the included one?

Like most software and hardware manufacturers these days, Sony assume that you would never need to use any other device except your phone. So why would you need to download the files?

It's also very annoying that the sound recorder doesn't record onto memory cards. It means you are limited in size to whatever space you have free on your Phone's internal memory.
