phone is initially detected fine. When I go to my phones/my k700/phone memory i get a list of folders other, pictures/sounds/themes/videos

but when i click on any of those i get a popup error saying "unable to connect - an unexpected error has occurred"

it then disconnects the phone and i cant connect to it gain unless i unplug the cable.

its strange because i can see whats in those folders using floats mobile agent but due to that being for the t610, i cant see any of the pictures ive taken myself etc, only whats in the normal folders it seems. the other sony ericsson software seems to work fine too.

it isnt an official SE cable but does cnnect perfectly to everything except this SE file manager thing so im wondering if this is a known problem with that program or this firmware?

just tried it again and this time i got a c:windowsexplorer.exe vc++ runtme error so dunno whats going on. im using xp pro all patched up.

*edit* i just tried it with my t610 and it works fine so it would seem to be a k700 issue!*

Try installing the latest version of fMA. The version you are currently using might not be able to 'see' all the files in the K700.

no fma doesnt have proper k700 support apparently so cant see the extra folders. but can still see inside the basic folders which i cannot do with the SE software.

its the SE software refusing to work for some reason.

I'm having exactly the same problem, with both SE software and FMA. I have loads of photos that i can't access because se won't connect anf FMA can't see the sub-folder

I have a k700 and I'm also using FMA and it works fine. I can acess my pictures and videos etc. Have you tried updating it from the help menu?
