Sorry to spam, but i just cant contain myself. I love the k700, i havent even played with it, recieved it this morning (SIM free ) had literaly 5 minutes to get it open put the battery in and leave it charging (had to go to work) didnt even have time to get the battery cover on.
The pictures of the phone definately dont do it justice, it is a tiny beautiful phone. Ive had a quick look through the menus I have a "my friends" option in one of them, I read somewhere here about this menu option being missing!??! The menus dont lag at all, screen is totaly amazing. My last phone was a nokia and I was wanting to leave nokia, this outdoes nokia by far, build quality is superb...
I love it...
Sorry to spam you all...
Now to get a BT dongle...

i think it is only branded phones that don't have my friends as disscussed before. I have an O2 k700 and under unbox i have call voicemail
Glad you like the k700, it is a great phone, not sure why there are so many mixed views, especially when comparing to a n6600.

The My friends option is just under messaging in mine... not in the inbox.
I have a message icon on the main screen, but dont have any unread/new messages, anyone know what this is?
Also how do i check the firmware?

set your shortcuts up, then try to access the service menu. A few people use right as 'write new message' as this is the same as what it is on t610. But you can set it to what ever you feel will be most usefull.
