> K700i GPRS

ok i just got a quick question, sorry if its been asked but the search didnt find my answer.
on my K700i the GPRS logo is on all the time, when i had the Orange version if the K700i it was never on :/, how do i turn it off ? or is it gonna be on 24/7.

You can leave it on 24/7, but if you wanna get rid of it, if you go to Connectivity, data comm. and then change the preferred services to GSM only, I believe this will turn it off.

GPRS Icon? You mean the blue type thing above the signal strength indicator? That makes a "blue square"? If it is that, it just means that you are able to use GPRS on the network you are currently on.

I suspect it is the same with the K700, but with the z600, you can leave GPRS off, and as soon as you use a function that needs it, it will turn on on the fly and then off again at completion.
Edit: leave GPRS off means exactly what str1ker said.

have you tried holding down the back button when on the main screen as this will ask you if you wish to disconnect all connections.
