The build of SE's phones should be solid, and not plasticky. OK, I'm not saying that the build is plasticky, but the keypad is. My keypad can someone move a little, and my joystick makes a creaky sound. Just... a little... disappointed...

I have to disagree, i think that the fit and finish of the k700 is superior to my old t610 and my friends t630, almost on pair with the lovely old t39.

I think the keypad is a massive improvement upon the t610 and prior to that t68i phones that I used to use. The buttons are more substantial, especially compared to the t610 who's buttons were tiny and didn't feel substantial enough when pressing.

The keypad on t630 is pretty good, if se would have done a bit more space between the buttons, them almost gh337 quality.

i'm also not really satisfied with the quality of the keys and the batterie cover - you here noises when you press the batterie cover and the keys are in generally abit "swimming" - i mean its no serious problem but, they should improve it next time

I know of the ones ive handled in the UK, the case is pretty much problem free. My K700 doesnt creak, anywhere, its solid. In fact its the most solid phone ive ever owned.
Yet people from places like Asia, and Eastern Europe seem to have creaky buggy phones..

My K700 was very solid feeling until i dropped it from a reasonable hight onto a carpark.
Now if i press the mirror area under camera it creaks a bit, but considering how hard it hit the ground i'm amazed it still works at all.
I have to say going from my P800 to the K700 i've been very impressed with the keys. My texting has improved considerably.
