I have not seen 1gb duo pro anywhere ever and it s not yet listed on sony uk or us web site
when they do become available they will be hellishly expensive. I have 2 512mb duo pro at the mo which cost me approx 125 each on ebay so I'd recommend getting a 512mb duo pro to start with, but wait until the P910 is actually available as the prices may drop further by then

Masseur is correct of the price dropping... MS Duo Pros at 512 MB are available now for around £110 new from an online shop (I found a Sandisk version with just a quick look, so I am sure Sony's are around too if you look for long enough)... just search on the shopping comparison sites to find them...
No 1GB MSDP's yet, though i bet they will be available for release shortly before, or after P900 launch, since so much of a fuss was made about it with the P900 - at least SE seem to listen to user feedback to their credit...

I don't think 1G PRO Duos will have a hurried launch primarily because of the P910 release. Several devices currently support 1G Pro Duos so companies could have capatilized on those markets now if the technology was fully developed and available. Thus I think the progression will be as consistent as all other storage disk releases. I would expect 1G Pro Duos to be released Q4 of this year. They will be expensive so I doubt manufacturers expect to sell that many for that reason and that 512mb appears to be sufficient for the average consumer at this point. I remember several members on this board complaining about the price of a 128mb DUO when it was released and thought 64mb was sufficient. It all came down to the $$. People will settle for less when they don't want to pay the extra $$. I have over (20) 128mb Duos at this point, but I doubt most members care to spend money on all that extra storage as I have for a mobile phone.
