OK guy'z the link is below,
read the presentation, and familiarize your self with BT Snarfing.
I've got a request to any good programmers in this forum. The code for the blue sniff programme is most probably a pearl script or some other sort of script (I dont know). But if any one knows and has the ability to manipulate it for the p900 (UIQ's) and then set a link for the programme, it would be grateful.
Heres the link : http://bluesniff.shmoo.com/

Download both the ppt and the zip

Well it wont work on the platform you have. Just found out that it works on Linux. If u have linux then it may work. But what i am trying to say is that if any good programmers could translate the scripts to java, thus a program for the p900.

Yes, MIDP Java can access Bluetooth.. whether it can do what you want with Blue Snarfing ( which is pretty unethical ) is another matter.

I have a friend who has linux, and we couldnt get it working on his pc either.

I cant believe the amount of people on this forum who actually want access to other peoples phonebooks and sound / images files.

I mean, whats the point ? you're not going to gain anything from it. Maybe a free phone call if you're *extremely* lucky.

You dont even need to bluesnarf people to get access to their files, simply bluejack someone saying something like ' enter this code for a prize 1234 ' and then pair with their phone, they'll then enter the code and once paired, you can play with their files.

ok....im running windows and the files are...useless!
The is one called "install" and another called "readme" which dont even have an extention! and then another which is a ".pl"
my knowlege on computers is quite limited so its probably just me that doesnt understand this..

Update:
All of the files are just text files...just add .pl as an extention.

.tar.gz is a dead give away you are deal with *nix files ie not windoze

tar file (aka tar ball) is an archive of files and gz indicated compressed with gzip.

@folling182

.pl indicates a PERL file

( Perl is a pretty horrid scripting language ).
