Ello,
I want to update the operating system on my p900. Doesn anybody know if this will effect all the settings that t-mobile put on it before i got it? like where to send txts and stuff too.
Just on the off chance has anybody got their tmobile email system working yet?

Text message centre numbers are stored on the sim card, so you should have no problems with that....
I could never get my head around the t-mail settings they gave me. It was unintelligible! I'm just using my Clara account instead.

T-Mobile supposedly blocked the email client on this phone to encourage customers to use WAP. However, if u use SE's configurator on there website this overides the hardware bar! Shhhh, don't tell anyone i told yeh, they wouldn't be happy! LOL

hmm You have just made me think about somthing. I just had alook at the settings on my p900.
It looks easy enuf to set up pop servers.
For example my home internet connection is with bt. so outlook is set up to recieve emails from their pop server.
Could i use my bt details to set up a pop server on my phone?
are their any diffrences?

Yes, you can use the same pop3 settings that are in Outlook. Just put them all straight in to your p900.
My Clara account works perfectly, and it's set up to check for new mail every 30 minutes, so I never miss an e-mail these days...
