> Ring sound for meetings on P900

I wish i could have a meeting profile as i had in my N___IA 6310 with 1 short beep and vibration for incoming calls, while all other special rings and alerts are in silent mode. I am wondering if such app or file exisists for my P900.

Same here, appointment and task alert is a defult tone, very short and hard to notice. It should work like the alarm.

Perhaps I have the wrong end of this requirement, but you could just use the sound recorded to record the type of sound you want and then use that as the ringtone... although the phone would still vibrate numerous times i suppose... go on, just tell me to shut up... !

as far as i know, ring sound is repetitious. so even if i record a bip, it will repeat itself. (unless i am wrong)

alternatively, although a little potchy, you could record the beep, along with a few seconds of silence - thus you woul donly get the beep...?...

I could try, but it looks pretty stupid to me that SE could not come up with more profiles for ring sounds, and that there is no "meeting" ring.

It is a little frustrating that there is only silent or not, but you just have to make the most of it now though i suppose...
Also, did I not see a profile program over at my-symbian recently... may be worth a search over there...

Simple way around that woul be to compose it in Music DJ. Here are the simple steps, as from my Z1010
Open Music Dj,->Scroll down the the trumpet Icon->Press Insert->Choose between Groove 1 (blue or orange they have the most discreet sound)->Then move along the same line to about number 70 or whatever and insert the same break-> That will make it ring with the same tone and then go silent until it gets to number 70 and then it will bleep again.
