> o2 branding?
Bookmark topic
i was comparing my k700 with my friends because it seemed his screen to be slighlty darker than mine. we both got it on upgrades on o2 but while mine had only three locked screensavers, hisHomepage icon in the top left corner was changed to an blue o2 icon. nothing serious compared to vodaphone and orange branding but still different to mine. We both have the same firmware tho, so has anyone else got the o2 icon and have they got a newer firmware revision from o2 as he got his about a week after me.

I bought my k700i from carphone warehouse on the o2 100 contract and it came in the origional SE box with no branding at all. Its probable if you buy it online when u get the slight branding.

When i worked at phones4u, we would have specific branded phones for like orange and voda, t-mobile, but also we would have GSM phones that were completely unlocked and were able to sell on Voda or O2 if we choose. Thats why some of you have got unbranded ones and some haven't.
note:- the unbranded ones we could only sell on voda if there wasn't a major branded version on voda such as nokia's
