and this post will no doubt close soon but searching for memory cardsfor p800 on ebay i found this

will this really work in my p800 as i have been searching on sites and there around 60 quid, is magic gate the correct one ???

It will work in P800 / P900
To make things clear:
MagicGate is a high speed technology available in almost all kinds of Sony Memory STicks these days.
It has nothing to do with the "Duo" and "Duo Pro" debate which revolves around the maximum data size of a stick (128MB being max for a Duo). Px00 uses "Duo" sticks and cannot use "Duo Pro" sticks.

I would suggest that now you know the correct one to buy, look around for minumim price available at the moment and get it. There is another thread discussing many options to buy
