which se phones (if any) provide a feature where you can place a password on sms inbox or messaging on a whole? i know u can do this on some motos n i think its a great idea if u got nosy people about.
oh, and that "great" security feature where if you place another sim into an SE, all the sms' get deleted, is that still there for the k700? anyone willing to sacrifice for a good cause?
apologies if these questions have been answered already.

Just don't lend it for friends to play with or leave it when those nosy peps are around. Or simply delete your texts after reading them, what's the point in having them in inbox when you've answered to it?

Well, I can tell you for sure that no ordinary phone has this feature... If you want it you will have to buy a P800/900 or something like that, but I don't know if it's possible with them either.
Or you can stop saving secret stuff on your phone.

If you have a dongle I would back up anything that Important to my PC anyway and there you can lock/hide it all you need.

I have to delete all my SMS off my K700 daily, so the wife doesn't find out about the affair i'm having with the girl from work!

Ok so its not really an affair, we just get on really well, but my wife is a bunny boiler!

The feature where if you place another SIM into the K700, all the SMSs get deleted DOES NOT appear to work on the K700. I have swapped three SIMs in my K700 in recent weeks and all SMSs remain in the phone. For me that's a good thing as I found it annoying on my T610.
