I just picked up a data cable for my phone. I've read previous posts already and I already downloaded the fMA. However, my phone does not recognice the cable. When I go to asseccories, its still greyed out. Yes, I already know which port it is in. My computer recognizes the cable but not the phone. Also, when I use the fMA, it can't find the phone even though I assign it to the correct port that the phone is connected to. Does it have to deal with asseccories still greyed out?

Your phone will not show anything to indicate that you have connected a cable. So accessories will always be greyed out.
Try setting the cable/COM port speed to 9600 on your PC.

be sure that FMA is connecting the same port and set the port on your computer (example:) to 9600 but also in FMA to 9600 (check options) and download the latest version ...
my t610 doesn't detect the cable either but that doesn't matter *-) i think...
