> T616 from USA in Argentina

Hi.
I bought a T616 in the States to use it in Argentina. Basic features are working fine, I can make and receive calls. But WAP, GPRS, e-mail and other provider specific configurations are wrong.
This is an unlocked Cingular phone so the logo or menu settings are from Cingular.
Is there any way I can access or edit this information? Do I have to ask my network carrier in Argentina (CTI)?.
Regards,
Jose

To use wap, mms, e-mail you need to first subscribe to those service(s), second call your provider to send you the settings for those services.

Thanks for your replay.
So, a simple call to my carrier will solve this situation?

Yeah it will, you just tell em what u did, and that you want to know the settings so they will send them to you, or tell you how to configure it manually.
Try visiting their website and look for the settings there, they may have them there.

or go to sonyericsson.com and it can send your settings to your phone too. first select your region, then select the Setup tab. Then follow the onscreen instructions to get the settings for your provider.

Well, finally I called my cell operator (CTI Argentina) and they made me enter all the necessary info to connect my cell phone to the Internet.
Thank you all for your help!
Best regards.
