Right, just got my K700 on o2, along with 500 minutes of WAP inclusive, but only 500kb of GRPS.
How do I know which my phone is using? Obviously I want to be using WAP for free, rather than paying for GRPS. When I press the "Online" button on the side, what am I connecting to, WAP or GRPS?
Yes, I'm new to this so any help much appreciated!
Thanks.

You have many different connections: if you use CSD your operator is counting time you spent on wap and kbs transfered. If you use GPRS connection it only counts transfered kbs-its cheaper and faster...

when you connect to wap, look at the top of your screen. if there is an icon like a phone on the top of the screen, you are using wap (500 free mins) if there is a globe your are using GPRS.
or just go menu > Connectivity > Internet Settings > Interent profiles > And select O2 WAP GSM. This will make sure that you are using the dial up (free mins), this is supposing your phone came with the ready created interenet profiles the same as mine

Well WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol and GPRS not (grps) for General Packet Radio Service. Yeah i know of some places where GPRS can be called General Pocket Robbing Services. !:-D

Dont know if its like my old T300, but if you select 'Always Ask' in the WAP profiles bit, it would ask if I wanted to use O2 WAP or O2 WAP GPRS....
