Sorry for starting a new thread but thought many of you may not continue to read the other.
Any as many of you have recieved the standard email from Orange stating that now software enhancements will be released I recieved the following from Orange.
Thank you for your mail received on the 28 July regarding your K700i phone.
I am sorry that you are unhappy with the changes that Orange have made to the phone.
I can confirm that Orange install different software on the phone and this means that some of the functions regrettably are different on the phone.
May I apologise if the manual has not been updated to show these changes. This is an error at the printers and subsequent editions will have this updated.
I can confirm that many of our customers has raised this as an issue with this particular phone and Orange are currently investigating if a software flash can be made available to correct these settings. Please be aware that this may not be possible if this setup is an integral part of the phone.
May I apologise for any inconvenience caused by these changes and trust that this information clarifies the current position for you.
