> K700 Phonebook Problem

rite ive got a probz wiv the phonebook search, had my fone for a week now and 2day is the first day it has happened. Ive turned it on and off and there has been no change. Basically, when you search the phonebook - lets say you are looking for "Harry" so you wud press 4 twice and in the top right of the screen u wud get GHI and then H wud highlight and then that little box in the top right wud go once ur at H. With mine since 2day i am getting just a 4 in the top right, so if i was searching for "Tom" i wud get a 8 and not TUV wiv T highlighted. [its not jus showing the rong thing, its doin the rong thing aswell so for H it is going 2 all contacts startin wiv 4 and same for T, all contacts starting wiv 8]

I aint got a k700 but maybe, u know when you txt you have that button which changes caps to normal and can change to numbers. Maybe u've pressed that in the phonebook menu. Then again that dont work in z600 so i cud be totally wrong!!

hmm okay it seems 2 b fine now, but i havent changed ne settings so dunno really, its bin like this all day. i guess its gonz happen sumtime soon agen so if ne1s got ne ideas on how 2 sort it out str8 away in future or if this has happened 2 themselves lemme kno plz.

I had this exact same thing hapen to me the other day, all I did was turn it off and then back on and it was sweet as again, somtimes two of the menu icons disapear aswell.
With all the bugs in this phone, I still dont care, I love it
well apart from the sms tones not being able to be personilsed!!!

none of my menu icons have dissappeared...yet...[touch wood] - but yea ur rite all these things will b fixed in the firmwares 2 come newayz so nothin 2 stress about, ur bound 2 get sum glitches in the initial few firmwares.
