> Reliable P900 O-Update?
Bookmark topic
Im getting a p900 the next week and the most probaly thing is that it comes with an old firmware version so i was thinking in make an online update but I've seen people who only gets a broken p900 instead that an update one. I live in Venezuela so if my p900 were damaged I would have to wait up to 3 weeks until i get a repaired one. So, is reliable the online update?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

The online update is very reliable, it wont break your phone.
The worst case scenario is that you will not be able to update as the SE website will think that yours already has the latest firmware. This is what most people have been complaining about and mostly happens with a phone which was with some contract initially and unbranded later.
You can try the update without any fear

@Chura
Go here for P900 firmware updates. It will ask for you CDA number...

As for your lack of cradle.. you should take your phone back if you can. If you bought it from a (non dodgy) shop they should have given you the entire package, which of course includes the cradle.

Updated 4 times so far... only one time the procedure stopped (without apparent reason) when it was only 4% of the whole process... with my surprise I followed emergency repair procedure and this time the uploading of the new firmware succeded so I presume it quite safe to upgrade a P900.
