I know this has been discussed numberous times, but I am fed up with the fact that you can not have delivery reports on automatically. The reason why I am posting now, is that I have found a way in control panel that allow MMS delievery reports to be always on. Therefore there is no reason whatsoever for this feature not to exist for SMS.

That may be because some operators charge for delivery reports. We have only one such operator here in india. So, those who do not want delivery reports can switch it off.
