I guess u mean MPEG files that have be ripped from a DVD as they're not in that format on the disc.

Use PVAuthor to convert MPEG ---> MP4

I found a pefect and easy soft for converting very fast!
thanks to mob 9 (sorry mr Esato) it's mpegable X4 live,it's available for free demo,and it doesn't cost much(20 euros) for full version
