I just recieved a Z700 prototype with a faulty screen, I would really like to fix it if possible. The screen may be the same as the T68 but I'm not sure. The problem with this one is when you take the screen apart you can see that the thin plastic ribbon to the backlight has broken, not sure if this is the only problem or not.
Does anyone have an idea how I might fix/replace this?
Thanks

Features I can't tell you about yet, as I can't see anything
Looks wise it's pretty nice, compact and not too heavy. It is a matt white colour, the styling is very clean.
It looks like it has a speakerphone round the back, jogdial is a 5-way like the P800/900. The keypad layout is odd, 4*4. Has a standard 2.5mm jack on the right at the top.
The inside of the case looks like they were going to add IR, there is a mount for something and connections on the mainboard. As far as I am aware it does have Bluetooth though.

As far as I know it is a 256 colour 101*80 screen, not totally sure yet. Looking at it I think I need to repair the ribbon that powers the backlights.
