Hi
I want to buy a P900 or a P910(if it is available), i am in the UK, can you guys/gals tell me where can i get it for a good deal(contract). Also i was interested in installing GPS on it.someone told me that tom tom is coming up with a GPS solution for it.

IS it a good idea to put GPS on to the P900?

To get GPS on a P-Series you will need to buy a Bluetooth GPS receiver & get hold of some software, then yes it should be good.

Don't be fooled by miniGPS, it's not GPS

I think you can expect to pay anything from £50 to £200 but I don't know really about the s/w.

Take a look on www.my-symbian.com in the UIQ section, they have a few but I reckon with a bit of cunning web browsing you can get a cracked copy!

Do you mean the receiver?
As far as I know any BluetoothGPS receiver will work, try looking on e-bay though prices seem to vary.

I always use GPRS mate. Don't even have dial-up settings in the phone!

I'm on O2 Online PAYG & still can use GPRS virtually free by using certain Proxy settings!!
Just charges 1p per connection so I leave it connected all day.
