> Mayhem game demo: P90x and P800

Would someone with a P900 (or maybe a 908) like to try a demo of our game Mayhem's Magic Dust out? Its free! I'm not sure if its that playable as a game because it needs the stylus and jog wheel. Still, if you want a go please visit

There is a WAP page if you prefer to download the demo and/or speed test straight onto your handset. Please visit
http://www.infinitelives.tv/MMD/dist/sony.wml with your phone's browser and pick the P900 demo and/or speed test. The download is about 76K so it should not take long over a wap connection.
The game isn't on sale for the P900 and may never be on sale because, lets face it, the stylus isn't that groovy a control for scrolling games like Mayhem but its there anyways as a demo if you want a go.

thats odd. i watched someone install the game onto their p900 today and it worked a treat. thanks for letting me know the message though, i'll try to find out more. you aren't installing on an 800 series phone are you? thats only midp1 i think.

and I think it works very well using the jog wheel and the stylus
p900 Speed test 51ms/frame 19 fps

heh cool. thanks for the feedback. the first time i actually saw the game run on a handset was today and already i've thought of a few tweaks.
the menu option text is a few pixels too high - it looked fine on the emulator and nobody told me the text was slightly out!
ducking is next to impossible with the jog wheel. you don't need to duck on the first level (the demo level) but on later levels you need to duck to drop through special floors so i'm going to add a "duck zone" at the bottom of the screen: if you touch that Mayhem will go into duck mode.
its a really nice phone though eh? the keypad is a bit crappy but once you lose that its cool. i also thought the game wasn't working because the first load takes ages. i think it was around a minute before the game appeared but after that it seemed to work fine.
