hello
just got my new k700i. When i turn it on, after about 30 secs, it restarts itself. The display is blinking for a while and then it goes back on. This loops forever, i cant even turn my phone off. Is this a common problem or is it just my phone ?

Hardly qualifies as a common problem mate! Nobody would by SEs if they all did that!!
Take it back to the shop & they'll replace it

sounds like a software problem - I had a T68i that just about worked - it just didn't turn off! I don't think the original poster can just turn his phone off - it will simply turn itself back on again. The only other way is to take the battery out to turn it off!

Sounds like buggered firmware/software on the phone - take is back and get it swapped, there's nothing you can do I'm afraid

Could it be the battery isn't charged yet, you've pluged it onto charge then turned it straight on. Could be getting enough charge to power up then discharging and turning off!?

Take the battery out, re-fit the battery, plug it into charge and leave it a couple of hours and try again, if that doesn't fix it, take it back to shop where i'm sure they'll replace it easily enough!
