> Can Sony so505i(s) work in U.S?
Bookmark topic
I know this is probably a dumb question but can the Japanese Sony so505i(s) cell phone work in the U.S..?
I have read some articles from other websites saying that there were actually ways in which to make the phone work in America(maybe by some type of hacking) I was just wondering if anybody knows or has a Sony so505is and would like to share what information they might know. I doubt it could work with American networks, but I could be wrong? Does it even use a sim card?
Sincerely,
Peter Brown

I do actually prefer the design of the so505i myself compared to the s700,which is still nice but no where near as nice as the 505i.

I don't think the SO505i is that nice looking.

It's got a rugged look about it which is nice. but from a different perspective, it kinda looks unfinished because not all the edges match.

u guys noticed the scroller on the SO505is instead of the joystick on the S700i? I prefer SO505is's scroller.
