It's available in Sweden with Vodafone live but it's severly hampered with Vodafones own software. You will, amongst other things, lack the ability to use mp3s as a ringsignal.

YOU WILL NOT EASILY BE ABLE TO FLASH IT, IT'S GOT BUILT IN PROTECTION THAT WILL ALLOW ONLY FLASHES WITH UPDATED vf LIVE! FIRMWARE.

Iapologise for the caps lock it was left on by mistake

Just acquired a K700 from Vodafone. Their digital rights management software seems to be set up to prevent the use of any MP3 as a ringtone (probably unless it has been downloaded from them). The stupid thing is that their settings won't even allow the MP3's supplied with the phone to be used!

Has anyone else discovered this problem?

As has been said very many times before: Never buy a Vodafone-branded phone!

@Vlammetje: In this specific case I think the Caps Lock mistake is quite appropriate and highly motivated.

Wow this is bad news!
i bought a t610 on vodafone live for 120 euros then bought the terminator dongle for 25, so i ended up with a sim free t610 for only 145 euros..
looks like i might be buying a nokia 6230.. 245 on vodafone!
