I have firmaware R5B05 on my P900, but I have a problem which mainly consists of the P900 'hanging' on the clock sometimes when I open the flip! i.e, it doesnt switch from the clock view despite holding any button or tapping on the screen, just the illuminated clock!!

So obviously I have to restart the phone by removing the battery...

Is this a firmware bug? Or a badly done upgrade? Or what it is exactly?

Any ideas of any new firmwares comming up? And when it is due?!

Thanks guys, feedback will be much appreciated

I experienced taht same problem once in a while using various firmware versions since the beginning. Even with the battery out you still see the clock on the display for a period of time as I recall

I always get latest firmware & I have never experienced that, the phone can slow when 1 use opera alot but thats cause opera eats memory, closing opera helps, I used to get white screen b4 firmware upgrade.

I have a feeling its possible 2 do a bad upgrade, unless their are different hardware revisions & they are the problem. Any of you tried formatting the C: drive?...

If you're certain it's the firmware just "update" it again. It doesn't matter if you already have this version on the phone. I had to do that once, but can't remember what the problem was.
