I'd like that as well, but so far I haven't come across a solution.

I think it would involve renaming Opera.app to browser.app and putting it in Z:\system\apps\browser\ somehow. Yesterday I found out it's a RAM drive and the only way to get it on there would be to flash the phone?

Sounds to difficult for me, i have only had my P900 for a week. Thanks for the answers!
EDIT. What do you mean when you say flash the phone?

I haven't got a clue! I think it's how you clear the phone of all data, which allows you to change networks etc??

Not possible I'm afraid. Flashing phone is done by service centre or online flash upgrade over internet when the phone OS & default applications are lashed to the phone. SE have never altered firmware to set Opera as default browser.

Opera is to be shipped with p910, so one can always hope that means they've included it in the rom image... maybe even as default browser (i.e integrated with the rest of symbian/uiq url handling).

Thanks for the tip, i've searched the page and have recognized that it is impossible to make Opera as the default browser. It's all up to SE to make it work..
