might be a stupid question .. but ...
can you time a SMS message on a t610 .. example ... i write it 01:00 AM... but i want to send it in the morning... can i set a specific time ? ...

no, but you could save it in unsent and manually send it at the time you really want it to go. thats about the best you can do

i doubt it. maybe its possible but not on t610. perhaps there is a java softwware that can do it......

If you don't mind using a "non-phone" solution - vgsmail (www.vgsmail.com) now have a facility where you can send an sms at a specified date/time using their web based interface.

You should ask to your network provider for that. I remember mine (Turkcell) has a such option, you write some stuff at the very beginning of the message, and it gets delivered when you like. But I'm not sure what do you write there, I've never used before...

Try this. Write *S 5# before the message, and the message will be sent within 5 hours.

i remember a few years back when t-mobile(uk) used to be one2one u could put *dl2# before your message and it would be delivered in 2 hours. (obviously u could change the 2 to any amount of hours u want) i dunno if it still works with t-mobile(uk) or any other t-mobile network around the world.

as i understand, *xxx# commands are GSM standard commands but each individual network can disable/alter/add to these commands if they want....although i may be wrong
