Hi. I'm going to go to Dublin next week.
I really need to use GPRS there.
Does anyone know any local operator that supports this service? Any advice?
Thx,
Vinz (from Italy)

I believe there is GRPS there on Vodaphone, but it has been a while since I was back there

Ět depends on the agreements with your home operator.
O2 and Vodofone have GPRS here, if you are with Vodofone in Italy then you will have no problems, I don't think O2 have any agreements with Italian operators yet.

Hi Jester
I wasn't aware one could have GPRS autoroaming. Sure?
Anyways, are there any Pay as you go cards there that allow GPRS access? I might need one come Christmas

I don't know about pay as you go, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to use GPRS in Dublin when I was there for St Pats this year. I'm on contract with Vodafone in the UK. Even better was not appearing to get charged too badly for it, I think I was able to use my allocated data limit (don't have itemised bill though, so hard to tell).

Not sure, if the roaming is auto.
I am with O2 here in Ireland and when I travel to the UK or Germany I can use GPRS there while roaming on the O2 networks, however I can't use GPRS with Vodafone in these countries.
I'm not sure if you can use GPRS on Pay as You Go, I would think not but I could be wrong.
