> Weird Headset/No headset issue on K700

I have an Orange based K700. There are a few little bugs on it but the most problematic one I have encountered is that when I answer a call (without the supplied headset attached) it sounds like the person is very far away. However, if I plug the headset in and listen to them through that it sounds fine.
Is this actually a bug with the phone or is it something that can be changed with settings?

Someone suggested that you plug the headset in, make a call and switch to max volume. Then pull out the headset, make sure the volume is still max (press the + button a few times for luck!), and that might help the handset volume....
Mine is set to 6/8 and it sounds fine - like my old T610 really. Headset (earphones) are a bit louder I guess, but I hardly use them.

trouble is, a lot of the time even if I power off the phone and back on, the problem remains, whether or not the headset has been attached...?
