P800 Bluetooth has always been unstable and bug-ridden.
Does resetting the phone by pressing and holding the power-button for more than 10 seconds help? It does on mine.

I'm having exactly the same problems with my P900.
Bluetooth won't turn on at all all of a sudden, even after a 10sec pwr button reset.
Battery also sometimes lasts about 6 hrs, other times 4 days.
What is going on!

I have my Bluetooth working and all, but the 'Backup' feature is greyed out. Is this normal, not being able to use the backup feature through a Bluetooth device?

I used to have a P800 and the only way I could get round that problem was to take the battery out of the phone, leave it for 30 seconds or so and then put it back in. Also watch to see if you get a Kernal error before it happens as that can indicate that the Bluetooth app has fallen over. The P900 is better, but Bluetooth is still not 100% reliable.
On you battery drain, do you have either have 'Tracker' loaded, or are you are using voice dialing with magic word activated (or even worse, both). With both of those running, I can drain a battery in 4-5 hours with a few calls. Take them both off and your battery life should increase...

As far the battery situation is concerned I would install a program called SMAN. This lets you close programs that are still running on the phone. When you leave most programs the phone actually leaves them running in the background which uses up the battery, Sman lets you close these which means the the life of the battery should be extended.
