Ok, I have been watching people on the forum posting @ everywhere and anywhere, applicable or not...... and it's been getting on my nerves for a while now. I've let it build up, as I figured it was a rather minor issue, but I can't stand it anymore!!!!!!


@ all people who don't get it, @ is pronounced as 'at'

@ is commonly used on the internet to indicate that we are speaking to a specific person, that means @Vlammetje = at Vlammetje = i am talking to you, vlammetje!

It is NOT common practise to use an @ in front of everybodys username when you're not talking directly to them, but talking about them.


So @ all the people who use @ in the wrong places: STOP IT!!! I can't take it anymore!!!

if I wanted my nick to read @Vlammetje, I would have registered as @Vlammetje!


So please people, if you really must mention other members in your post, drop the @.
